Error Control Coding
Project
The project is an opportunity to investigate a topic in
error control coding in depth.
It can be a review of an area or of a specific paper or group of papers.
Students can choose their own topic or consider one of the following.
- Reed-Muller codes (binary and nonbinary)
- Turbo codes
- Polar codes
- Low density parity check (LDPC) codes
- Self-dual codes
- Network coding
- Bit interleaved coded modulation
- Locally recoverable codes
- Coding for deletion channels
- Coding for memory systems
- Quantum error correcting codes
- Trellis coded modulation
